your information

All of your personal information is treated with the most respect and always kept completely confidential. HIPAA (and my own professionalism) forbids me from discussing a client's treatment or even acknowledging if someone is a client. I also will not be able to tell you if a gift certificate you’ve purchased for someone else has or has not been redeemed.

To provide the best service I can, some paperwork will need to be filled out prior to your first treatment and updated annually or as needed. You may print a copy to complete in advance, or I will have them for you at your appointment.


scheduling

Your reservations is time JUST for you. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. To cancel or reschedule without a fee, you must provide at least 24 hours notice by email, voicemail or text message. You may also cancel or reschedule online; there is a link at the bottom of your confirmation email. You can email or text ANYTIME to provide 24 hours or more of notice.

Any cancellation with less than 24 hours notice is subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of the scheduled service. Any cancellations with less than 2 hours notice will be charged 75% of the scheduled service. “No-shows” are subject to the full fee for the scheduled service. Cancellation fees must be paid before you may reschedule.

If you are ill, STAY HOME. Most often you know if you are starting to feel sick the day before. If you come in and are ill, you will be sent home and charged a cancellation fee.

If you arrive late for your appointment, your appointment will end at the scheduled time. You will be responsible for the full payment of your scheduled appointment.

I understand that “life” can sometimes prohibit you from attending a scheduled appointment; please remember that I am reserving my time just for you and someone else may be on the waiting list. In addition, due to the high volume of appointment requests, I ask that clients who find themselves repeatedly needing to reschedule with short notice consider contacting me for same day availability. I sincerely appreciate your understanding.


session times

Your massage time is as stated. Please allow for a few extra minutes in your schedule for your full appointment time. This allows for a brief consultation, time getting on/off the table, payment and rescheduling (if desired).

Your very first session may be 10-15 minutes longer to discuss your history, goals, and answer any questions you have. Please allow for this extra time in your schedule. Thank you.

Appointments are booked 20 minutes apart, and I need to clean & prepare the treatment room for the next person. If you need extra time to get up or have questions about a stretch, exercise, etc., please let me know BEFORE the end of your service so that I can give you the time you need.


payment & prices

Payment is due at the time of service. Preferred methods of payment are check, Zelle, and cash. All major credit cards are accepted (a processing fee up to 4% may be added). I can also accept Venmo.

Prepayment for appointments is optional while using online scheduling. Square processing charges a non-refundable fee of 4% for all transactions; any refunds for prepaid appointments will be reduced by this amount. Prepaid funds may be applied to rescheduled appointments.

Receipts are available upon request; insurance billing is not provided.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Multiple discounts may not be combined.


gift certificates

Gift certificates are a nice way to say thank you or let someone know you care about them and their health.

I apologize for any inconvenience, but due to very limited hours, gift certificate are not available at this time.

You can schedule and prepay for someone by making an appointment online. Please make the appointment for the person who is coming, not yourself. There is a confirmation email sent; if you want it to be a surprise, just enter your email…

Others have made their own gift certificate and mailed me a check that I can put in an existing client’s chart. In this situation, if the client comes in, I cash your check. If not, I will keep it for a year before destroying it.


products

All sales are final. An exception is made if a product is defective; it may be exchanged for a new product within 14 days of purchase.

If you are very sensitive, it may be best to work with “mini size” products first. Please ask me about this option.

5.6% sales tax is added to all product sales.


termination of session

 

You have the right to terminate your session at any time for any reason (or no reason), and I have the right to terminate or refuse service at any time.

Please be courteous; treat me how you would treat your other health care providers. Any inappropriate conduct or solicitation will be referred to local law enforcement immediately.


etiquette

I strive to maintain a relaxing and professional atmosphere at all times.

To ensure the safety of your children, please make other arrangements for your children during your appointment. Children are not permitted in the treatment room unless they are receiving a service. If you arrive to your appointment with children, you will be asked to reschedule and you will be charged for a missed appointment. If you are interested, I have a daughter who is a Red Cross certified baby-sitter and may be available to help. Please contact me to discuss details.

Please turn off your cell phone upon entering the treatment room. If you choose to leave your device on, it may affect the tranquility of your service. 


photography

All facials and aesthetic services will include before & after photographs for the use of documentation. Photographs will not be used for business promotion, marketing, or social media without your consent.
